The last 20 years have seen me working in a variety of accounting and financial environments, ranging from large accounting firms through to a smaller country practice where I was the senior manager. It’s a variety of experiences that have definitely helped me to grow in the role of business adviser and the people that I’ve met on the way have provided me with many rewarding and interesting experiences. I’ve discovered that I particularly enjoy working with clients to help them grow and to achieve their business and financial aspirations.

Which brings me to the reason I joined KDB in 2002. There’s a wonderful team here, full of individuals with a breadth of knowledge and experiences and a shared commitment to helping clients grow. In fact I felt so much at home here that on the 1st April 2005 I ignored the coincidence of it being April Fool’s Day and became one of the owners of the company.

My specialty at KDB revolves around the structuring of business activities, including the use of trusts and strategic planning. This helps businesses and high net worth individuals operate in a smarter and more efficient manner, resulting in them being better placed to meet the challenges ahead.

At the weekends I enjoy a game of tennis, squash, golf or a spot of fishing, in fact anything that gives me an excuse not to get roped into the renovation that we presently have underway. In addition to these 'free time’ activities I also spend most weekends, as many parents do, either watching my son participate in his chosen sports or ferrying him to and from various venues.
